Become a Part of the 3rd Annual "The Dominator" 5/10K Walk & Run!

Last year, Blue Dot Services and the D.O. Believe Foundation hosted their 2nd Annual "Dominator" 5/10K Walk and Run.  We reached out to local businesses and members of our community to join us in this run, and because of their help, the "Dominator" was a huge success!  We had almost 300 runners take part and were able to donate more than $25,000 to Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research in Wilmington, DE. With your support, we know we can double those numbers!

We are once again holding this event on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 and ask for your support to make this run bigger and better. Please consider making a donation, participating in, or sponsoring the "Dominator" to continue making this vision a reality.

Time: 8:00 am for the 5K Event; 9:00 am for the 10K Event

Costs:
5K: $25 pre-register; $30 on race day
10k: $30 pre-register; $35 on race day

Proceeds of the run will support the D.O. Believe Foundation and life saving research at the Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research, located right on the campus of Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE.  D.O. Believe was created in memory of a local child and hero, Dominic "The Dominator" Osorio.  Dominic earned his angel wings in November 2009 after battling a brain tumor.  Dominic's determination, courage and enthusiasm helped him think positive and believe that a miracle was just around the corner.

Pediatric brain tumor research is under funded and the public remains unaware of the magnitude of this disease.  The cure rate for most brain tumors is significantly lower than that of many other kinds of cancer. 

The 5/10K Walk and Run will be a joyful way to honor Dominic and help children facing this devastating disease.  With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.  Together, we can put an end to childhood cancer.  All we have to D.O. is Believe.
